Samsara: Endless Looping Interface

4
The Samsara Interface

Having been a performer who has utilized loop pedals for many years, I became disaffected with the complexity of modern looping pedals. Many functions that are impractical for most applications are now standard on most units, and potentially key functions such as varispeed control and transposition are missing. I set out to create a flexible looper that could be configurable to handle any kind of controller and any type of input, be it a synth, a voice, or a bass guitar. This patch incorporates several of my control interfaces for both hardware units such as the KMI SoftStep and software through the use of TouchOSC. This project is under construction with an anticipated completion date of fall 2018.
